Railzy (railzy.in) is an independently operated Indian train travel information service. It shows live train running status, PNR status and travel-time guidance for trains operated by Indian Railways. Not affiliated with Indian Railways, IRCTC or CRIS.

Account data. If you create an account we store your name, email address, a hashed password (we never store the password itself), and optionally your phone number and preferences such as a default boarding station.

Location. If you tap “Use my current location”, your browser shares your coordinates with us only to calculate the drive time to the station — they are used for that one request and not stored. If you choose “Save as home”, we store those coordinates (in your browser, and in your account if you are signed in) so future estimates start from home. You can clear this at any time from your profile or browser storage.

Usage data. Standard web logs (IP address, pages visited, device type) and product analytics events, used to keep the service secure, rate-limit abuse and improve features.

PNR numbers. A PNR you check is sent to our licensed data provider to fetch the booking status and is not stored by us.

We use an essential, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics (usage measurement), Google AdSense (advertising — Google and its partners may set cookies to show ads, including personalised ads where you have consented; see Google’s policies for how to opt out at policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and Google Maps Platform (travel-time estimates).

We do not take payments and do not process card, UPI or other payment details.

To provide the service (live status, PNR, leave-time guidance), personalise it (saved home station, saved trains), prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal data.

Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and its data, email us at kainsin@gmail.com from your registered address and we will remove it within 30 days, except any records we are required to keep by law.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and withdraw consent. Contact kainsin@gmail.com.
